Wood Roaches
The wood roach is found outdoors in many areas of the country. They often are brought indoors when firewood is brought in from outside. The adults differ in appearance from the females, which do not have wings and are dark brown. The adult male has wings and can fly short distances. They are often attracted to outside lights. Wood roaches do not breed indoors.
Pay particular attention to:
- Any insects flying into lights at night in the springtime of the year. Locate where insects may be coming from indoors.
